- Gen Jeong visits Pyeongchang On-Site Command Posts (2018.08.17)
- Gen Jeong visits Pyeongchang and Gangneung On-Site Command Posts to inspect readiness(Jan. 12, 2018) With around one month remaining until the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Jeong, Kyeongdoo visited the On-Site Command Posts in Pyeongchang and Gangneung on the 12th to inspect readiness and encourage servicemenbers stationed there. Gen Jeong also visited the Olympic Organizing Committee and promised to provide as much military support as possible for the success of the Winter Olympic Games.

- Gen Jeong conducts command flight on board Peace Eye(Dec. 30, 2017) Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Jeong, Kyeongdoo went on board the Peace Eye(E-737) airborne early warning and control aircraft on December 30th to conduct a command flight and inspect the military's readiness posture. Gen Jeong held command phone calls with key units within the Korean-model three-axis system such as the Army Missile Command, ROK Navy Aegis ships, and ROK Air Force K2 Operational Headquarters as well as servicemembers of the Yeonpyeong Unit defending the Northwest Islands and was briefed of their commitment to their given duties.

- Gen Jeong welcomes President Trump on his state visit to Korea(Nov. 7, 2017) Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Jeong, Kyeongdoo welcomed US President Donald Trump as he arrived at Camp Humphreys and participated in a private lunch attended by presidents of both the Republic of Korea and the United States.

- Gen Jeong participates in Tri-CHOD between ROK, US and Japan(Oct. 29, 2017) Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Jeong, Kyeongdoo participated in the Trilateral Chiefs of Defense(Tri-CHOD) Meeting at the US Pacific Command Headquarters in Hawaii on the 29th to discuss response options against North Korea's nuclear and missile threats. At the Tri-CHOD, the three leaders reaffirmed that North Korea's nuclear tests are a severe violation of United Nations Security Council Resolutions and agreed to cooperate among the three countries to respond to such actions.

- Gen Jeong visits USS Ronald Reagan with Gen Brooks(Oct. 24, 2017) After the conclusion of a ROK-US combined exercise, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Jeong, Kyeongdoo visited the USS Ronald Reagan of the 5th Carrier Strike Group currently stationed at the ROK Fleet Command in Busan and received a briefing with ROK-US Combined Forces Commander General Vincent Brooks on the 24th. Gen Jeong encouraged the servicemembers to "maintain the ROK-US combined 'Fight Tonight' posture capable of fighting and winning in any given moment through close ROK-US coordination."
